Tomato Beef Macaroni













Definitely one of my favorite Recipes. Quick and easy, but also delicious. If you're looking for something to deliver on taste, while also being light on your pocket book, this is the meal to try.

INGREDIENTS

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil 
1 lb ground beef
2 (16 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
1 cup water
8 oz elbow macaroni, uncooked
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS


1. Saute onions and garlic in olive oil. (5-10 mins)

2. Brown the ground beef and drain.

3. Add ground beef, tomatoes, water, macaroni, salt and pepper to the onion and garlic.

4. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

5. Serve with bread.

Delicious Pizza Casserole














Made with everything you love on a pizza, and combined with egg noodles to create this Pizza Casserole masterpiece. Stimulate your taste buds with this edible piece of art! Truly a great Red Meat Recipe.


INGREDIENTS

2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup sliced pepperoni
16 oz pizza sauce
4 tbsp milk
1 cup shredded cheese (mixed or mozza)

DIRECTIONS

1. Cook noodles according to package directions.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

3. In a fry pan, over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic.  Drain fat. Stir in the noodles, pepperoni, pizza sauce and milk, and mix well. Pour this mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.

4. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

5. Remove dish, top with cheese, and place in oven until the cheese is melted. (5-10 mins)

Ground Beef Empanadas






















These golden brown beef treats make a great meal any night of the week. This Recipe for Ground Beef Empanada keeps it simple and tasting good. Perfect for those of you out there that prefer a little spice, I know I do.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 jalapeno peppers, diced
All-purpose flour
1 tomato, diced
2 packages frozen empanada pastry disks, thawed
Salt and Pepper


DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.


2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, breaking up the meat into small morsels. Cook for roughly 5 minutes, until no pink is found.

3. Add onions, jalapenos, tomatoes. Stir in chili powder and oregano. Cook for 15 - 20 minutes. 

4. Season with Salt and Pepper.

5. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature.


6. Prepare a work surface by covering it with flour. With a rolling pin, gently roll out an empanada disk.

7. Place approximately 2 heaping tablespoons of empanada mixture into the center of the pastry disk. Dip a pastry brush in water and moisten the outer edge of half of the disk; fold disk in half and use a fork to press the edges together.

8. Repeat for each empanada, re-flouring your work surface as necessary.

9. Place empanadas on a cookie sheet and bake approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Juicy Tomato Steak



















This simple steak recipe goes great with a side of mash potatoes and a some tasty veggies. A meal meant for a king, you'll feel like royalty once you've gotten a taste of this deliciously juicy Tomato Steak.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb  simmering steak
6 cloves garlic, sliced
1/2 cup white wine
1 tomato, diced
2 tsp fresh rosemary 
Olive oil 
1/2 tsp crushed chili peppers
Salt & Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over steak. Heat olive oil in frying pan (Medium-High Heat), and brown both sides of the steak. Remove from heat, and transfer to a plate.

2. Add oil to pan; fry garlic (Medium Heat). Add salt, pepper, 1/2 tsp crushed chili peppers, add wine, tomatoes and rosemary.

3. Return steak to frying pan. Cover, lower heat (Medium-Low), and let simmer for 1hr or until steak is tender. Transfer to plate, spoon leftover sauce onto steak, and enjoy!

Ground Beef Nachos



















These tasty Ground Beef Nachos will keep your friends coming back for more. Whether you're watching the game, or relaxing with family, everyone is guaranteed to be in love with this easy Beef Recipe.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef
1 bag of restaurant-style tortilla chips
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped bell green pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 package of taco seasoning
1 cup of grated mixed cheese (mozza/cheddar)
Salt and Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. In a frying pan, brown ground beef. Add tomato sauce, taco seasoning, green pepper, onion, salt, and pepper to the pan.

3. On a large baking tray, spread tortilla chips to form a bottom layer.

4. Once cooked, spread  mixture over the tortilla chips, and sprinkle cheese on top. Place in oven 10 - 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Ground Beef Shepherd's Pie
















Deliciously satisfying and easy to make. This Beef Recipe takes creamy garlic mashed potatoes, fried ground beef, and corn. Molded together it forms a great Shepherd's Pie.

INGREDIENTS

Ground Beef:
1 tsp butter or oil
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp steak spice
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Mashed Potatoes:
5  potatoes, peeled 
5 cloves garlic
1 tbsp butter
salt and pepper

2 (15oz) cans whole kernel corn
3/4 cup grated Mozzarella cheese (optional)

DIRECTIONS

1. In a pot, boil  potatoes, and add garlic. Once you can pierce the potato easily, they're done.

2. Preheat the oven to 400F.

3. Drain the potatoes. Mash the potatoes and garlic with 1/4 of a cup of milk, 1 tbsp of butter, salt, and pepper.

4. In a frying pan, heat oil and fry the ground beef, along with the spice, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Cook the meat until browned. 

5. In a large baking dish, layer the ground beef, corn, then mashed potatoes. Top with Mozza cheese.

6. Bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes.

Doomsday Meatballs
















Can't think of a better way to end 2012, then with some Doomsday Meatballs. This recipe is guaranteed to have your tongue crying for more. It's Hot! ...But oh so good!


INGREDIENTS
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground cayenne
1/2 tsp onion powder
pinch, crushed red peppers
2 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp tomato paste
2 tsp dried oregano
1 lb lean ground beef
1 large egg
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs


DIRECTIONS

1. In a bowl, combine the cumin, cayenne, onion powder, crushed red peppers, hot sauce, tomato paste, and oregano. Add egg, ground beef, and breadcrumbs, and season with salt and pepper.

2. Roll the meat into roughly 20 balls and preheat the oven to 400°F.

3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake until cooked through, about 15 minutes.

Easy Mighty Meat Pizza















Give the gift of a full belly this Holiday Season with the Red Meat Recipe's Mighty Meat Pizza. It's very easy to make, cooks quickly, and serves lots. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS


1 can Pillsbury refrigerated thin pizza crust
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb italian sausage
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
1oz thinly sliced salami
1/2 cup diced bacon
2 cups shredded mixed cheese (Mozza/Cheddar)


DIRECTIONS

1. Heat oven to 400°F, grease a large cookie sheet. Unroll dough and place on cookie sheet. Starting from center, press down dough to form a square in the cookie sheet.

2. In a frying pan, cook beef and sausage over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is cooked and sausage has no pink.

3. Cover dough with pizza sauce, and add toppings after they have been drained.

4. Bake about 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.

Ground Beef Curry



















Mmmm curry..! This is an easy recipe with a great blend of spices. Ground Beef Curry is sure to be one of your favourites after one taste of this delicious recipe.

INGREDIENTS

1lb lean ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped
8 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
2 potatoes, diced
1 cup of peas 
1 teaspoon of curry powder
1 teaspoon of cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon of tumaric powder
Salt and pepper to taste
butter

DIECTIONS

1. Melt the butter in a deep pan, fry the onions in a low heat until it's caramelized

2.  Add ground beef and garlic then fry together until the the meat is cook

3.  Add tomatoes, potatoes, peas, curry powder, cumin powder and tumaric powder.
Lower the heat, simmer for about 45 minutes, stir occationally.

Try The Festive Roast Beef Tenderloin This Christmas!




















Christmas is here, and at Red Meat Recipes we want to help. The Festive Roast Beef Tenderloin would make a great centrepiece for any kitchen table this holiday season!

INGREDIENTS


1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp onion powder
1 garlic clove, minced
2lbs trimmed beef tenderloin
ground black pepper
salt

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

2. Combine oil, spices and garlic in a bowl. Rub the tenderloin with the mixture of spices, then sprinkle on salt and pepper. Place the beef on middle rack in roasting pan.

3. Roast tenderloin until thermometer registers 130 degrees for medium-rare, about 30-40 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

Meaty Flank Steak Fajita
















The Meaty Steak Fajita, delicious steak cooked to perfection topped with spices, peppers, and onions. There's a party in your mouth, and your tongue is wearing a sombrero, that's how great it is! 

INGREDIENTS


2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
1 lbs beef flank steak
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup(s) sour cream
8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 red peppers, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 (6 to 8oz) onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup(s) water

DIRECTIONS


1. 
Rub garlic all over steak, and let stand at room temperature.

2. Preheat oven to 300°F. Wrap tortillas in foil, and heat in toaster oven 15 minutes or until warm and pliable.

3. Heat frying pan on medium heat. Brush garlic off steak and discard. Sprinkle 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper on both sides, for seasoning  . Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the pan, then add steak. Cook 10 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired.

4. Transfer steak to cutting board; reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil to the pan, and add peppers and onion. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until onion browns, stirring occasionally. Add 1/4 cup water and cook 5 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.

5.Cut steak across the grain into thin slices. Divide steak and vegetables among tortillas; top with sour cream.

Oven Cooked Beef Jerky For 2















A simple recipe for home made, oven-cooked, Beef Jerky. If you're looking for quick and simple, but still delicious, this is your choice! Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
1lb of sliced, lean meat
1/2 bottle Worcestershire Sauce
1tbsp Garlic Powder
1tbsp Onion Powder
BBQ seasoning
Salt
Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine all marinade ingredients, except for BBQ seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

2. Place strips of meat in marinade and allow to soak for a couple hours or overnight.

3. Remove from marinade and sprinkle with BBQ seasoning, salt, and pepper. Do this before meat dies.

4. Place in oven and allow meat to dry untill done.
